Paul Chelimo finished second in the elite section of the men's 1,500 meters in 3:40.16 at the Payton Jordan Invitational at Stanford's Cobb Track and Angell Field. Chelimo is preparing for the 5,000 at the Shanghai Diamond League, along with a run at the American 2-mile record at the Prefontaine Classic.
